I create bold, hand-pulled prints of plants and wildlife that reclaim space—on the page and in our lives
I’m drawn to the things we overlook. Weeds. Pioneer plants. The ones that grow anyway, in places they weren’t invited. A “weed” is just something someone decided not to value—and I’ve always questioned that. My work celebrates what persists, what adapts, what quietly takes up space and belongs anyway.
I work in linocut and traditional woodcut because the structure of the process gives me freedom. There are steps. There are constraints. And inside that, I let go. When I’m making art, I’m not self-conscious. I feel lighter. More like myself. That sense of clarity and connection is what I want to pass on.
My compositions push outward—forms expanding, pressing against the edges—because that’s what I see happening in the world. Wild spaces are shrinking. Concrete is taking over. My work responds by doing the opposite: giving life more room. Letting it grow. Letting it take up space.
I’m not making protest art. I’m making the world as I want it to be.
A place where plants and animals are safe. Where life coexists. Where things don’t have to be loud or perfect to matter. Where there’s room to breathe.
There’s a lot of noise in modern life—pressure, expectations, constant input. My work offers something quieter. Not empty, but calm. Not passive, but alive. It’s an invitation to slow down, to notice, to reconnect—to nature, and to yourself.
The people who collect my work aren’t looking for decoration. They’re choosing to live with something that reflects what they value. They want to bring life back into their spaces. They want to feel grounded again. They want something real.
At its core, my work is about connection.
Connection to the natural world.
Connection to something older than us.
Connection to the part of ourselves that exists beneath all the noise.
And a reminder that we’re still part of it.
Bring that connection back into your space.
